Earlier in January Meizu has officially introduced Meizu M6S smartphone with 3GB of RAM and a new variant of the phone just got certified in China. The Meizu M6s M712Q-B got certified by TENAA, and
that certification reveals that both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of the phone are on the way. The rest of Meizu M6s’ specs are the same as on the variant that was announced back in January.
These two new handsets include a 5.7-inch display that features an HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels plus it is powered by a Samsung Exynos 7872 processor. Other specifications on the handset include a front-facing 8-megapixel camera for Selfies, plus a rear-facing the 16-megapixel camera for photos and videos. A 3,000mAh non-removable battery that supports 18W fast charging is also embedded in it, while Android 7.1.2 Nougat comes pre-installed on the phone, with Meizu’s Flyme 6.2 OS. There is no information regarding when the new memory variants will launch but expect them to sell for more than the currently available ones.
The phone was originally announced in Champagne Gold, Matte Black, Moonlight Silver, and Cobalt Blue color variants, all of which are listed on TENAA for these new variants as well. Till today it’s not clear when the new version of S6 will become available in stores. But it’s quite sure that the new version of the M6S won’t make us wait for long and will come out earlier than May.
