In 2018, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, POCO released its model with the name Pocophone F1. It’s obvious that it was a huge success as the Snapdragon 845 SoC was available at a very reasonable price. Latter the year, Xiaomi managed to rock the market by introducing the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. But still, the Poco users have been long awaiting for the new successor of it, Pocophone F2 Pro. And for this, Xiaomi seems to bring a change in that by releasing the new flagship in the market. The new model Poco X2 (Redmi K30 4G) is ready to launch in India. The POCO F2 Pro will be available on May 12.
POCO F2 PRO specs:
Although Poco claims that it will come up with its new model but it’s likely that it will only be a rebranding for the Redmi K30 Pro. This could only be an assumption as Redmi k30 Pro has some backlogs which need to be improved. Firstly, it doesn’t hit the price point of the Poco F1. And secondly, the main thing could be of the display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The Redmi K30 aka POCO X2 boasts an LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Well, nothing new seems to be here. Let’s see what specs POCO F2 has to offer.
This new model will totally be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC. Additionally, it will also have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage capacity. Also, talking about the display it will have a 6.67-inch bezel-less display with FHD+ resolution. Well, this is just a standard panel with just a 60Hz refresh rate. The handset comes along with a motorized 20MP pop-up camera in order to achieve its bezel-less nature.
Diving in the back, here we have a circular quad-camera setup with a 64MP main, 13MP Ultrawide, 5MP telephoto macro, and 2MP depth sensors. It has an in-built fingerprint scanner and battery capacity ranges around 4700mAh with a 33W fast-charging. The Redmi K30 Pro comes in Blue, Grey, Purple, and White color options an the price ranges at $549.
