Realme 6 series to have 90Hz display, Snapdragon 720G and 30W fast charging priced at $175???

Realme brand has launched its Realme 6 series smartphones (Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro) at an unveiling event held in India today, March 5. Although this event was for the showcase of its new flagship model in its Realme 6 series, it has also promoted its first-ever fitness tracker band. Realme 6 will be the successor for the Realme 5 and with that provides Realme users a new experience to test.


Realme 6 Series Specifications:

The Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro smartphones will be featuring a full HD+ 6.5-inch IPS LCD panels offering a 90 Hz refresh rate. For a difference in the appearance of both of these phones, Realme 6 offers a punch-hole display whereas Realme 6 Pro has a pill-shaped punch-hole which seems support for dual front-facing cameras. Moreover, both models will share a 90.5 screen to body ratio.

The figure depicts that both models’ displays are protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The rear shell of the Pro model also features the same reinforced glass. Furthermore, these phones arrive with splash-resistant chassis.

Realme 6 is fixed with the Helio G90T gaming-centric processor whereas for the Realme 6 Pro it will be the world’s first smartphone to have an 8nm Snapdragon 720G mobile platform. The Realme 6 series comes up with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

Talking about the camera the Realme 6 features an in-display 16-megapixel camera.  There will be a quad-camera setup on its rear side, which includes a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary shooter, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide lens, a 2-megapixel B&W portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.  The rear cameras support OIS Max video stabilization.

Unlike Realme 6, the Realme 6 Pro shows a dual-camera setup on the front. It has a 16 MP main lens along with an 8 MP ultra wide lens with a 105-degree field-of-view. Also, it supports for ultra wide video shooting. The front cameras on both phones support automatic HDR, AI Beauty, Portrait Mode, time-lapse, 120 fps slow-motion video shooting and Portrait Nightscape.


On its rear side, it features a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 prime shooter, a 12 MP telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom and 20x hybrid zoom and a 119-degree ultra wide lens of 8-megapixel. The rear camera of the 6 Pro comes with Nightscape 3.0 which benefits in super long exposure for night shots, ultra nightscape mode in extremely dark environments and expert mode for capturing RAW photos.


The Realme 6 and 6 Pro comes with 4,300 mAh batteries which is fully chargeable within an hour via the 30W fast charging technology. For saving power, the smartphone itself switches between 60 Hz and 90 Hz refresh rates.
